MISSION STATEMENT
The mission statement of Notre Dame Catholic School Library is to support classroom teachers in their effort to implement the Ontario Curriculum, to promote a love of literature in all its forms, and to provide our students and teachers with equitable and open access to information. Our library will be a welcoming and stimulating environment where students are enabled to become independent lifelong learners.

ROLE OF TEAM PLAYERS
Teacher-librarian
*select, manage and utilise learning resources, manage school library, and develop and maintain an effective formal and informal Information Studies/Information Literacy program by providing curricular support in planning, development, assessment and evaluation for staff and students.
Classroom Teacher
*collaboratively develop curricular activities which will provide students with opportunities for learning as outlined in the Information Studies document.
