CSC Meeting on September 27th

The purpose of the Catholic School Council is to help to improve student achievement and well-being as well as enhance the accountability of the education system to parents.  School Councils are advisory organizations and the primary means of achieving their purpose is by making recommendations to the principal of the school and to the school board for the benefit of all students in the school.

As a parent/guardian of a child at this school, you are eligible to self-nominate or nominate another parent/guardian of a child at this school to be a voting member and/or Executive Member (Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer) of the Catholic School Council. Please see the attached Nomination Forms.

Our Council is made of up to a maximum of 21 Voting members and we hope you will participate. Parents/guardians are always welcome to attend meetings, even if they are not voting members.  Meetings are held on weekday evenings, with additional committee involvement if you are interested. It is important for all members to commit for the full year and attend all meetings. You are required to attend the first meeting, if you wish to be a voting member.

We will form the 2022/23 CSC on Tuesday, September 27th during our meeting which takes place in our Library at 7:00 p.m. Thank you for your continued support of our students at Notre Dame CES. Looking forward to working in partnership!

Yours in Catholic Education,

T. Wilkinson

Principal
