We have a mission for all Notre Dame families!
Your mission is to start collecting as many used batteries as possible and drop them in the Call2Recycle collection boxes in the foyer starting on Monday, October 2nd.
This battery collection mission includes 50 participating schools across Ontario through the Earth Rangers program. The top seven schools to collect the most batteries will win up to $5,000! We have from Monday, October 2nd until Friday, November 3d to collect used batteries.
This mission is a great way to do a seasonal cleanup around your house. Remember to regularly change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, television remotes and any electronics that use batteries. ALL kinds of used batteries can be recycled.
As a thank you for participating in the battery blitz, Earth Rangers will be presenting to grades 1-6 students on November 29th, and they’ll be bringing in some of their animals to show the students. It’s a great show!
