Congratulations to grade 7 student Nicholas Boutsis for completing four weeks as a Legislative Page for the Legislative Assembly of Ontario!
Each year approximately 150 students across Ontario are selected to participate in the Page Program. It is a unique educational program for Ontario students and provides an opportunity to experience the provincial legislature in action and learn first-hand about Ontario Parliament.
Students who are selected for the program are high-achieving, community-involved students who have demonstrated responsibility and leadership. Nicholas met various parliamentary and political figures including; Premier Doug Ford, Marit Stiles (Leader of the Official Opposition of Ontario), Caroline Mulroney (Minister of Transportation of Ontario), and Michael Parsa (MPP).
Congratulations Nicholas, what a great learning experience and you made Notre Dame proud!
